A FUN Palazzo Jumpsuit

  I sewed a palazzo jumpsuit for myself, and am incredibly happy with it. A while back, I sewed a PJ Jones McCalls jumpsuit. I love the way it looks on the pattern envelope, and after it was finished, it looked fantastic on my dress form. When I put it on, I loved the way the pant legs swished, and how comfy it was. BUT I didn't like the way it looked on me. I looked like a blob and a slob. It was so disheartening. I'm an hourglass and I should have known it wasn't going to work for me. I actually did know this, but hope springs eternal, and I thought I could make it work. Nope. When doing some online window shopping for pieces I might want to sew for myself, I came across a Michael Kors palazzo jumpsuit. Gorgeous!!! The wide leg width made me think of the PJ Jones jumpsuit. Hmmm.   And when I looked at vintage patterns online, I came across this one for a palazzo jumpsuit. Ok, it pushed me over the edge. My Denim Collection

    I have been wanting some denim pieces in my wardrobe as go to pieces, pieces that I could wear anytime and anywhere. Instead of just thinking about it, I finally took action and did it! I very carefully curated every piece that I put in this collection. I haven't always done this with collections I've sewn. In fact, I have never done this before! Every single piece in this collection fits the rules the I should follow for my petite hourglass figure type and true winter seasonal color. Because of how careful I was, I was really excited about this collection, and it didn't take me long to complete it. For my hourglass figure type, I need waist definition, and the clothes have to be nicely fitted. I am a true winter and the color of dark wash denim is in my true winter seasonal colorway.
